stomach bug?

Question by cavicchi42: stomach bug?
does anyone know quick easy ways to help with a stomach bug?

Best answer:
There's no real fast way to help with a stomach bug you just have to let it run its course. Make sure you are drinking plenty of liquid like Sprite something that is clear and that you are resting. If diarreha is apart of it you can take some anti-diarreha medicine to aid in that. Hope it helps.

Six Nations 2010: Mark Cueto Becomes Fifth England Star To Be Hit By Stomach Bug

England's recent sickness curse is in danger of causing disruption ahead of tomorrow's RBS clash with Ireland at Twickenham, as Mark Cueto missed a second day of training with a stomach bug.

However, Ashton has been brought up to speed with all the relevant calls and plays, suggesting that Johnson is prepared to take a risk on him.

The alternatives would involve fielding players out of position or making more than one change to a back-line that is still at the bedding- in phase.

Theoretically, Ben Foden could play on the right flank or start at full back and Delon Armitage could take the No 14 shirt.

Another option would see Foden at full back, Armitage at outside centre and Mathew Tait move to the wing, but that is three changes for one injury.

Cueto is the fifth player to be taken ill since the start of the championship - following captain Steve Borthwick, Simon Shaw, Toby Flood and Shontayne Hape.

However, only Hape was forced to pull out of a match, against Wales, and Johnson will be desperate for Cueto to declare himself ready and able to play. Last night the player was feeling better and he was optimistic about his chances of playing.

Not only does he add reliability and leadership to the mix, he is also a vital figure if England have to chase the game - literally.

The post-mortem into the unconvincing victory over Italy 12 days ago featured extensive criticism of Jonny Wilkinson's kicking in open play.

But Ugo Monye claimed yesterday that the problem was more to do with the fly-half's colleagues not chasing the ball with sufficient conviction and he identified Cueto as someone capable of making sure there is no repeat.

'There wasn't so much criticism about the amount we kicked then because the chase was good and it created opportunities for us which we capitalised on. In Italy, we got found out a couple of times in terms of our chase.'

Monye admitted that Ireland will be difficult to pressurise into mistakes as they are canny in the way defenders block direct routes to the back three charged with catching kicks.

'Ireland are a very intelligent team and they will work hard to protect their back three and stop people chasing them down,' he said. 'We've just got to work harder to find space and put heat on those guys.
